The work
What a shift actually looks like
You care for one child, in their home, for the length of your shift. You know their baseline, their equipment, their parents and their routine. There is no corridor, no six-patient assignment, and no handover shouted over a nurses’ station.
It is also quiet, and it asks for independent clinical judgement. You are the clinician in the room. That suits some nurses enormously and does not suit others, and we would rather you know which before you start.

Who we are hiring
Roles and requirements
These are the roles we recruit for continuously. Shifts are matched to your availability, and we will tell you what is actually open near you when we reply.
Pediatric Registered Nurse, nights
One child per shift. Airway, ventilator and seizure monitoring while the family sleeps.
Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse, days
Feeds, medication, therapy visits and school routines alongside the family.
Pediatric RN or LPN, weekends
Regular weekend assignments, often the shift families struggle most to fill.
Per diem RN or LPN
Pick up shifts around another job or around your family. Tell us your availability.
Pay depends on your licence, your experience and the shift, and we go through it openly in the first conversation. If the pattern you want is not listed here, tell us anyway. We would rather know you exist before the shift comes up than scramble afterwards.
- RNs and LPNs with pediatric experience
- Comfortable with airway, feeding tube, seizure and medication care, or willing to be trained to competency
- Reliable: families plan their working lives around whether a nurse arrives
- Bilingual nurses especially encouraged: language access is central to how we work

What experience do you look for?
Pediatric experience and the specific competencies a case needs: airway, ventilator, enteral feeding, seizure care. Our exact minimum requirements are being confirmed; ask us and we will tell you where you would fit.
Do you offer nights and weekends?
Much of private duty nursing is overnight and weekend work, because that is when families need cover. Tell us the shifts that fit your life and we will be straight about what we have.
What does "matching" mean for a nurse?
It means we try to place you with a family whose needs suit your skills and whose household suits you, including language and cultural fit. A good match is why nurses stay, and why children keep the same nurse.
