Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. It covers the website only. Health information we hold about a child in our care is a separate matter, and is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.

What we collect

What you type into a form. There are three forms on this site, and each one asks for a little more than the last:

• Request care for your child. Your name and phone number, and optionally your email address, your preferred language, your relationship to the child, how you would like us to reach you, your insurance or Medicaid plan, and whatever you write in the message box.
• Make a referral. Your name, organization, phone number and work email, and optionally your role, an anticipated discharge date, the level of care needed, and your message.
• Apply to join us. Your name, licence type, phone number and email address, and optionally your pediatric experience, the shifts you are looking for, the languages you speak, and your message.

Only the fields marked as required on each form have to be filled in. Everything else is your choice.

Please keep medical details out of these forms. We ask this on the forms themselves and we mean it. Do not send diagnoses, medication lists, test results or clinical records through a web form. Tell us enough to call you back, and we will gather what we need through a secure channel once we are speaking.

What the server records. Like nearly every website, our host keeps standard access logs: the IP address a request came from, the browser used, which pages were requested and when. These exist to keep the site running and to protect it from attack, not to build a profile of you.

What this website does not do

• No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any other visitor tracking on this site.
• No advertising or social media pixels. Nothing here reports your visit to an ad network.
• No tracking cookies. The site does not set cookies to follow you around. WordPress may set functional cookies for staff who log in to administer the site.
• No third party embeds. Fonts, images, styles and scripts are all served from our own domain, so opening a page does not quietly announce your visit to anyone else.
• We never sell, rent or trade your information.

Why we use what you send

To answer you. A family enquiry is used to call you back and talk about your child. A referral is used to work out whether we can take the case and to reply to you about it. An application is used to consider you for work and to contact you about it. We do not use any of it for marketing.

Who can see it

The people at CCPS who need to act on it. Our website host and our email provider handle the message while it travels and while it is stored, as any host and email provider would. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use what you send for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries, referrals and applications are kept for as long as we need them to deal with the matter and to keep a reasonable record of it. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Access to the inbox that receives form submissions is limited to staff who need it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you, at any point, and we will stop. Email Services@CCPediatrics.com and tell us what you would like us to do.

Children

This site is written for parents, carers and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through it. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
